What happens after I die, and what is the hope for those who have passed away?

According to scripture, when believers die, their souls immediately transition into the presence of God, and their bodies await resurrection. The hope is that we will be reunited with our glorified bodies at Christ’s return, experiencing eternal life with God. For loved ones who have passed away in faith, there is the assurance that they are in a blessed place, and we will be with them again when Christ returns (Job 19:25-27, 1 Corinthians 15:20-23). This promise provides comfort and hope that death is not the end, but a transition into God’s everlasting kingdom.
