Operating in spiritual authority involves believing in the power Jesus has given us as believers. Jesus said in Luke 10:19, ‘I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will hurt you.’ To live in that authority, we must be full of faith, stay rooted in God’s Word, and be bold in prayer. When we pray, declare God’s promises, and stand on the name of Jesus, we activate divine power over sickness, the enemy, and life’s obstacles. Just like the apostles who preached and saw healings and miracles follow them (Mark 16:17-20), we can see the miraculous happen when we operate in faith and authority. Walking in power means trusting that Jesus’s resurrection gives us authority and living intentionally as ambassadors of His kingdom—praying with confidence, declaring God’s truth, and walking in victory every day.
