Questions & Answers
How do I operate in spiritual authority and experience God’s power in my daily life?
Operating in spiritual authority involves believing in the power Jesus has given us as believers. Jesus said in Luke 10:19, 'I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will hurt you.' To live in that authority, we must be full of faith, stay rooted in God's Word, and be bold in prayer. When we pray, declare God's promises, and stand on the name of Jesus, we activate divine power over sickness, the enemy, and life's obstacles. Just like the apostles who preached and saw healings and miracles follow them (Mark 16:17-20), we can see the miraculous happen when we operate in faith and authority. Walking in power means trusting that Jesus's resurrection gives us authority and living intentionally as ambassadors of His kingdom—praying with confidence, declaring God's truth, and walking in victory every day.
What role does prayer play in my relationship with God and in making a difference in the world?
Prayer is the vital connection between humans and God—it is our lifeline, our way to communicate, seek guidance, and invite His presence into our lives. The Bible encourages us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 to 'pray without ceasing,' meaning prayer should be a constant attitude, not just an occasional act. A prayerful life builds faith, aligns us with God’s will, and prepares us to be effective witnesses in the world. When believers pray, they tap into divine power that can bring healing, deliverance, and breakthroughs—not only in personal lives but also in communities and nations. Prayer also prepares us to be better soul winners—people who actively seek opportunities to share Christ and see lives transformed. A church of prayer is a church of power, authority, and effectual impact, where God's Spirit moves freely to accomplish His divine purposes in us and through us.
How can I find peace during tough times?
Finding peace in difficult moments starts with trusting that God is in control and that His promises are sure. The Bible teaches us that when we seek God wholeheartedly and pray persistently, He hears us and brings comfort. Psalm 103:1-3 reminds us to bless the Lord and acknowledge that He forgives our sins and heals all our diseases, which includes emotional and spiritual burdens. By turning our focus to God through prayer, praise, and trusting in His Word, we can experience a peace that surpasses understanding. Even when circumstances seem overwhelming, holding onto His promises and continual prayer can anchor our soul and provide the calmness needed to navigate adversity. Remember, God desires to carry your burdens and give you rest, so approach Him with faith, and His peace will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
What does it mean to live a victorious and purposeful life?
Living a victorious and purposeful life begins with understanding that through Jesus Christ, we have authority over life's challenges. The Bible states that believers are seated with Christ and can operate in the miraculous, casting out demons, healing the sick, and speaking life over negative situations (Mark 16:17-18). To live purposefully, we must live by faith, pursuing God's will actively, and being bold in sharing His love with others. Jesus taught us to seek first His kingdom and righteousness, promising that all our needs will be met (Matthew 6:33). A life of victory also involves praise—celebrating God's goodness even before visible results appear—much like the Israelites shouting and praising when walls of Jericho fell. Embracing this victorious life requires courage, prayer, continuous faith, and walking in the authority Christ has given us, knowing that God's plans for us are good and aligned with His purpose for His kingdom.
How can I strengthen my faith and become more effective in my spiritual walk?
Strengthening faith begins with immersing yourself in God's Word and learning to pray and praise consistently. Romans 1:17 teaches that 'The just shall live by faith,' emphasizing that faith is not a one-time act but a daily lifestyle. Regularly reading and meditating on scriptures like Psalm 103:1-3 and Matthew 28:18-20 helps build confidence in God's promises. Praying persistently, even in challenging times, activates spiritual authority and brings breakthroughs. Living as a witness involves stepping out of comfort zones, praising God openly, and sharing the gospel with others. When we speak God's promises over our lives and believe in His capacity to heal, deliver, and provide, we grow stronger spiritually. Faith flourishes when we trust God's character, remember His past faithfulness, and continue to seek Him through prayer, praise, and obedience, walking in the authority Christ has given us as His children.
Why is praise important, and how can it impact my life and the lives of others?
Praise is vital because it acknowledges God's greatness and demonstrates our trust in His power. The Bible describes praise as a form of spiritual warfare—when God's people praise Him, walls of opposition can come down, and breakthroughs happen. Psalm 33:1-3 encourages us to rejoice and sing a new song to God, making melody with joy. Praising God in faith before seeing answers is like giving a battle cry, which can lead to supernatural breakthroughs, joy, and peace in our lives. When we praise God unashamedly, it lifts our spirit and inspires others around us to trust and believe in God’s goodness. Praise also aligns our hearts with God's presence, attracting His favor and empowering us to live victorious, impactful lives. As we cultivate a lifestyle of praise, we become living testimonies that reflect God's love and power to those who see our lives, drawing others to Him.
